Stephen was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa; at an early age, Stephen’s life and dream were disrupted by a protracted 14 years of civil war that destroyed many lives and ruined so many dreams. The civil war caused Stephen and his family to flee to neighboring Ghana, where he resided until he relocated to the United States and did everything possible to fulfill his dream of becoming a lawyer.
